The magneto is tested on a special discharge device after assembly and regulation. Magneto testing can be both short-term and long-term. It is tested for a short time if the repair of the magneto took place without replacing the main parts, but if the major units and components were replaced, the magneto is tested for a long time.

The magneto is tested at different speeds and under different loads to check all indicators and their standards provided by the manufacturer. If during the testing there were no mechanical damages, sparking failures, overheating of the magneto – the magneto has passed the test.
