An aircraft engine is checked after an overhaul on engine test stand.
The engine tasting on the stand is carried out in various operating modes. At the same time, our experts record the parameters of the engine operation, such as: oil temperature, pressure in the oil system, temperature of the cylinder heads and pressure in the fuel system. Besides, they check the operation of the engine on the first and second circuits of the ignition system. Measurements are carried out in accordance with factory standards, guaranteeing reliable engine operation.
In general, the engine runs for about 2 hours. Then the oil is drained and the oil filter checked for metal chips. Further, a Form 1 certificate is issued and the engine is allowed to operate on an aircraft.
